Las Vegas Raiders season ticket booklets received two Award of Excellence and one Best of Category prizes.
Norcross, GA, July 5, 2023 – CPI, a division of FineLine Technologies, announced today that it won three awards for printing excellence from Printing Industry Association of the South (PIAS) for CPI’s work on Las Vegas Raiders season ticket booklets.
The PIAS Graphic Award Competition was created to recognize the outstanding abilities of print producers to transform paper and ink into outstanding forms of communication. Since the industry is comprised of very diverse companies, this competition has over 100 categories in four different divisions that are determined by the size of the firm. The categories reflect products such as: annual reports, brochures, letterheads, newsletters, direct marketing, presentation folders, cross-media campaigns, and more.
The award-winning Las Vegas Raiders season ticket booklets contain 15 different ticket types and 13 different pieces of artwork that are unique for each game. Each Las Vegas Raiders game has unique foil and SCODIX polymers, which is a raised UV treatment that imbues additional texture and high shine into each ticket. The foil treatments are perfectly matched with the ticket printing and images and are applied as these tickets go through a minimum of four processes on different printers. The processes include a perforator, an Igen machine for variable data and color, a foil machine, and a SCODIX that adds raised UV treatment. The front cover of each ticket book is also hot foil stamped using custom magnesium dies.
Each game ticket contains an encoded RFID inlay, which is applied to the ticket back and contains the season ticket holder’s specific seating information for each game. This RFID inlay also allows for additional fan engagement both during and after the game.
FineLine CEO George Hoffman said, “Many professional sports franchises and entertainment venues depend on CPI’s years of expertise in creating beautiful and functional event tickets and presentation boxes with design-in RFID technology.” Hoffman went on to say, “These awards demonstrate the exceptional quality of work that goes into printing these memorable keepsake season tickets for the Raiders.”
CPI Vice President and General Manager Curtis Howells added, “We really enjoy designing these types of intricate and exacting printed tickets and packaging that helps drive fan enthusiasm.” Howells finished by saying, “CPI is proud to have worked with the Raiders for more than 25 years delivering unforgettable keepsakes that delight their season ticket holders.”
