FineLine’s VP of Sales, Richard Jaynes, spoke at the recent Vendor Compliance Federation’s conference, Retail Private Label: Driving the Perfect Order. Jaynes spoke on improving speed to market, FineLine’s specialty.

“We speed up the supply chain process with a combination of innovative technology and excellent customer service,” said Jaynes. “Our web-based platform integrates ordering and production and allows us to manage an ever-growing mix of vendors and retailers around the world.”

Jaynes explained to other industry leaders the benefits of technology like this, including a reduction in errors and administrative costs, better visibility and communication, as well as the opportunities for branding, security, and easily keeping up with trends.

“There are so many opportunities with this technology,” said Jaynes. “In an industry like ours the need for flexibility, innovation, and quality is paramount. With a technology platform like this, you’re able to manage all of that.”

FineLine Technologies has its own such platform, called FastTrak. It streamlines the supply chain process for vendors and retailers alike for all their ticketing needs. It also allows FineLine to process, produce, and ship orders, often in just 48 hours.

“The conference was great,” said Jaynes. “I always enjoy attending VCF’s events and meeting new people in the industry. I’m looking forward to the annual fall conference.”

VCF’s fall conference will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona November 13-16, 2011.
