NORCROSS, GA.— July 18, 2016 — FineLine Technologies, has improved the speed with which customers are now able to place orders via the online ordering platform, FASTtrak. To support this, FineLine has completed a platform upgrade which included a move to a new data center and investment in faster, more secure data connections between our US and Asia production facilities.
FineLine selected a new managed service provider and an all virtual hosting environment for the FASTtrak platform to improve performance, scalability and security. The upgrade was planned over a 2 year period and also included a major database upgrade, which provides further scalability options to successfully manage our customers’ sophisticated PO data requirements.
The new all virtual hosting environment gives FineLine the ability and flexibility to scale additional resources on demand. Consequently, non-redundant physical devices have been removed from the hosting environment, to eliminate the risk of a single device failure, greatly improving system reliability.
Customers will see immediate improvements in system response times and ordering speed when using FASTtrak. FineLine employees will also experience improved system speed to better service our customers.
