Atlanta, GA–March 14,2008–FineLine Technologies announced today that it has expanded its partnership with QVC and its vendors to provide a more comprehensive solution for the retailer’s barcode ticketing needs. QVC, headquartered in Westchester, PA has launched a major initiative to improve its supply chain efficiency by dramatically improving the quality and accuracy of barcode labeling of its products. In connection with this initiative, FineLine Technologies will be named as a preferred provider of QVC barcode labels and will be providing access to Fast Trak, FineLine’s proprietary web-based system for managing the ticketing and labeling process.
By utilizing FineLine’s Fast Trak system, QVC will be able to electronically transmit purchase order data to FineLine , who can then produce barcode labels on demand as orders are placed by QVC’s vendors. The new system will allow QVC and its vendor community to place orders, track orders and manage the ticketing function online. QVC and FineLine expect that the result will be a significant improvement in barcode accuracy and quality.
